 A little bit about me:  My name is Kathy Hardy and I'm an Artist/Jewelry designer/sewist and professional nature photographer.  I live with my amazing husband, Wayne and awesome Aussie Puppy [Skye]. We are also parents to a 35+ year old Eastern Painted Turtle, named Frankie! We all live in the forest, just on the edge of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Transylvania County, North Carolina.  I just adore little critters and tiny little bugs that look right up at me in wonder, but surprisingly sit still long enough for me to take a close up photo of them.  People even ask me "what do you do to get those bugs to pose".  I answer, quite honestly, speak softly and always carry a camera.  I try to split up my time between jewelry making, sewing and photography, but it's really getting harder and harder to stay away from the outdoors and, especially, my camera.  After all, "it's not about the way you look at things, it's about the way you see them."  Thanks for stopping by ~ Kathy Hardy
